Kim, Charlie Hanna, Andrew Guion and Noah Heulitt, has developed a shape memory
alloy-controlled system to actuate the flaps in a prototype aircraft wing. [more]
Preclinical studies of Aerosurf™ conducted
at the Temple University School of Medicine. Discovery
Labs’ Aerosurf ™ was tested in a well-established preclinical
model of respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) at the Temple University
School of Medicine. The studies demonstrated improvement in both lung
function and reduction in inflammation associated with lung injury
and chronic lung disease.
